FAQs: Class Information

What are classes like?

Classes are anywhere from 8-25 students and are led by a team of enthusiastic and trained coaches. Each class meets weekly for a duration of 1-2 hours, depending on the level and time of year. Every class starts with a warmup before moving into our activities where both golf and life skills are seamlessly integrated. All classes end with a wrap-up discussion.

Do I need golf clubs?

All equipment is provided, but if your child has their own clubs, you are encouraged to bring them.

What should I wear?

Participants are encouraged but by no means required to wear appropriate golf attire. This includes a collared shirt, pants or shorts/skirt, and athletic shoes. Most players will be comfortable in athletic clothing, including close-toed shoes. Don’t forget a rain jacket and hat to protect you from the elements!

Can I miss a class?

Players are encouraged to attend as many classes per 6-8 week session as possible. In the case of an emergency or needed absence, please notify your Lead Coach. In the case of an absence, we can offer a “make-up” class at a different time during that same calendar week, but no more than twice per season.

Most classes are fully enrolled and many with waiting lists – we encourage you to hold off on enrolling if you plan to miss more than three or four classes a session.

How will I know if class is postponed or cancelled due to weather?

We do our best to practice rain or shine. In the case of extreme weather, we will notify you of a cancellation via email within at least 3 hours of the class start time.
