What are classes like?
Classes are anywhere from 8-25 students and are led by a team of enthusiastic and trained coaches. Each class meets weekly for a duration of 1-2 hours, depending on the level and time of year. Classes include a warm-up, golf/life skills activities, and wrap-up.
Each class includes a blend of golf instruction and life skills development. We use games, activities, and on-course play to create a fun, engaging environment where kids learn both the fundamentals of golf and important life lessons—like honesty, confidence, and perseverance—without it feeling like a lecture. The goal is to help skills on the course naturally connect to life off the course.
Do I need golf clubs?
Nope! We provide all the equipment your child will need. If your child has their own clubs, feel free to bring them. Either way, we’ll make sure they’re ready to play and have fun.
What should I bring with me?
In addition to golf clubs (if you have them), please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and any personal items your child might need—like a hat, allergy medication, or a snack if allowed. We recommend labeling personal items to help keep them from getting lost.
What should I wear?
Dress in comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes and wear a hat for sun protection. Be sure to bring a jacket or extra layer in case it’s cool or rainy.
Closed-toe shoes are required—golf shoes or sneakers work great!
Can I miss a class?
We encourage players to attend as many classes as possible during each 6–8 week session to get the most out of the experience. If your child needs to miss a class due to illness or an emergency, please let your Lead Coach know.
We offer up to two make-up classes per season, which must be scheduled during the same calendar week as the missed class (based on availability).
Because most classes fill quickly—and many have waiting lists—we recommend waiting to enroll if you expect to miss more than 3–4 classes in a session.
How will I know if class is postponed or cancelled due to weather?
We do our best to hold classes rain or shine! If weather conditions become unsafe (such as lightning, extreme heat, or poor air quality), we’ll notify you of any cancellations or postponements by email at least 3 hours before the scheduled class time.
